Young people between 15 and 24 account for 40% of new infections world-wide. 1,500 children become infected with HIV each day, mostly newborns. Currently, 63% of the world's infected people live in sub-Saharan Africa, but the virus is spreading fastest in Eastern Europe and Central Asia (70% increase in new infections in the past 2 years.)

But where do we start? Where the people of God always start in times of crisis—with prayer. Look for the 31 Day Prayer Guide insert in Sunday's bulletin.
