 I don't say it enough: I am so grateful for you! I keep asking the Lord to fill you with the spirit of wisdom and revelation, and to manifest Himself in you!
If you were not at church this past Sunday, we have begun to prepare for our response to the Lord's generosity to us in the major gift from the Emery foundation. We will embark on the Imagine campaign between August 12 and September 9. The Imagine campaign is about imagining together what God wants to accomplish through us, and how he wants to use each of us and our gifts to bring it about.
We have assembled a team, led by Joy Norman, to guide this work. If you want to get involved on this team, please contact Joy at the address below and let her know. Even if you are unsure how your abilities fit in, ask Joy. Also, we will have information meetings after church August 12, 19, and 26.
I need your help today! We are compiling a vision journal as part of our upcoming Imagine campaign. This journal will be given to each of us on August 12 and will serve as a companion guide for us to take a spiritual journey together to discover what the Lord has in mind for each of us.
Is the ministry of Mariemont Church a significant part of your life? If you would like to share a short testimony of what MCC means to you, or the specific role that it has played in your life, please compose a short paragraph - 2 to 5 sentences - for the Imagine Team. We are hoping to include some of these statements in the journal. The deadline for replies is Friday, July 20.
