Adults: 20s and 30s Print E-mail

Group Description: Young adults interested in discipleship, spiritual growth and small group fellowship
Goal or Purpose: Encouraging mutual spiritual growth and fellowship in a small group environment
Types of Activities: Weekly Bible studies, periodic service and fellowship activities
Where:
     Bramble Hill Group (Mariemont): home of Chris and Sara Young
     Treeridge Group (Anderson Township): home of Beth and Zeke Swift
When: Thursday 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Who can attend: MCC and non-MCC adults in their 20s and 30s
Group Size Limit: No limit. When we grow too large, we form new groups
Accepting New Members: Yes
Childcare: No
Contact required before attending: Preferred

Group Description: Anyone with a heart for missions or prayer, or both.
Goal or Purpose:  Regular, concerted group prayer for each MCC-supported missionary and ministry—about 20 relationships in all.
Types of Activities: Coffee fellowship, missions prayer, personal sharing/prayer
Where:  The home of Paul and Lois Barbros (contact for directions)
When: First Tuesday of the month, evening, 7:15p - 8:45
Who can attend: Adults or older teens
Group Size Limit: Not Limited
Accepting New Members: Yes
Childcare: No

Group Description: For those interested in discipleship, spiritual growth and small group fellowship
Goal or Purpose: Encouraging mutual spiritual growth
Types of Activities: Bible studies and related studies (an occasional book or tape series) in the areas of discipleship and spiritual formation
Where: Anderson Township Area, Home of Beth and Zeke Swift
When: Every other Sunday evening, 7:00 - 9:00p
Who can attend: MCC and Non-MCC adults primarily from Anderson Township
Group Size Limit: No limit.  If we grow too large, we will create new groups
Accepting New Members: Yes

Group Description: For those interested in spiritual development, prayer support, and small group fellowship
Goal or Purpose: Encouraging mutual spiritual growth and fellowship in a small group environment
Types of Activities: Fellowship time with focus time on specific Bible studies or other spiritual development area.  Also time for personal prayer requests and sharing.
Where: Various member's homes
When: Every other Sunday evening, 6:30 - 8:00p
Who can attend: MCC and Non-MCC adults
Group Size Limit: No limit.  If we grow too large, we will create new groups

Comments:  3/2008: A time to be refreshed through worship and the Word. Each week, we'll focus on a prayer from scripture as we worship and pray together. There's freedom to pray out loud or silently, or just to rest in His presence. Bring your personal prayer needs as well. We'll have a time of ministry at the end. Leaders are available to pray with you for healing and other needs in your life.

We meet for fellowship and encouragement and study
Goal or Purpose: To mature in Christ
Types of Activities: Fellowship, prayer, study and snacks
Where: The Parish Center, Committee Room
Temporary location during renovations: Mayor's Council Room (call for directions)

When: Every Friday Morning, 6:30a- 7:30a
Who can attend: Men, 18 and over from MCC and the local community
Group Size Limit: Not Limited

Women: Fellowship Group 50+ Print E-mail

Group Name J.O.Y. Luncheon (Just Older Youth)
Group Description: Women aged 50 + and their younger friends.  We have a very broad range of ages!
Goal or Purpose: We desire a sense of community, and want to encourage and support one another in our walk with God and each other.  We are also open to opportunities to serve our church and community.
Types of Activities: A monthly luncheon and devotional.  Plus we plan to get together for lunch, walks and outings as we are available.  We also take on service projects as they arise.
Where: Normally we meet in the Parish Center, however; during the renovation we are meeting at the MariElders Center at 6923 Madisonville Road in Mariemont.
When: Second Wednesday of each month from 11:00 am until about 1:00.  But, don't rush.
Who can attend: Any woman, 50 and over, plus younger women who enjoy being with us.
Group Size Limit: Not Limited
Accepting New Members: Yes
Childcare: No.

Group Description: Women meeting together…young and old, married and single, new to faith or been around for a while… to discuss Biblical truths through Bible study, book studies, and fellowship time.
Goal or Purpose: To encourage one another to grow in our walk with God and each other.
Types of Activities: Food, Fun, Fellowship, and Feasting on God’s Word.
Where:
     -Fall 2008 until remodeling of the Parish Center is finished:  New Life Temple Education Building
     -Usual: The Parish Center, Lounge
When: Tuesday Mornings, 9:15a - 11:00a (Summer hrs vary) 2008 Fall Kickoff: Sept 2
Who can attend: Any woman, 18 and over, who would like to know more about God…no matter where she is in her faith journey.
Group Size Limit: Not Limited
Accepting New Members: Yes
Childcare: Yes (Call about childcare in Summer) Please write in advance so we can plan childcare resources.

Goal or Purpose: To encourage one another to grow in our walk with God and each other.
Types of Activities: Guided studies, usually a 30 to 40 minute video followed by 45 minutes discussion time.

When: Every other Monday evening, 7:30p  - 8:30
          Fall Kickoff: Sept 8, 2008 
Who can attend: Any woman, 18 and over, who would like to know more about God…no matter where she is in her faith journey.
